The Kansas City Chiefs are releasing wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to save $12 million against the salary cap, multiple outlets reported Wednesday.The 29-year-old veteran won back-to-back Super Bowls with the Chiefs the past two seasons after spending his first four campaigns with the Green Bay Packers.Valdes-Scantling caught 21 passes for 315 yards and a touchdown in 16 games (10 starts) in the regular season in 2023. He had a 16-yard TD grab in the 25-22 overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
