Ring in the Noon Year at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center

The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center will host its annual Noon Year’s Eve Party on Saturday, December 31, 2022, from 9:30 A.M. until noon. Known for being one of the highlights of the year, area children and their parents will have an opportunity to spend the last day doing a variety of cool activities.

“On New Year’s Eve, we do a special thing for families called ‘Noon Year’s Eve’,” said Laura Burton, Kansas Children’s Discovery Center’s Director of Marketing and Development. “We know the little kiddos (the ones that come to the Discovery Center) have a hard time staying up until midnight. So, we do a special ticketed event, a fundraiser for our access programs. They get to come here. They get to play here at the museum. They get to do a DIY donut decorating station, confetti slime, and a giant balloon drop, just like a cool New Year’s Eve celebration.”

Danielle Norwood, Host of the Majic 107.7 Morning Show with Knight & Norwood, will do the official countdown with the children around noon.
